Aside from the fact the character of Wall-E is a cross between ET & Johnny 5 and a lot has been 'borrowed from 2001- A space Odyssey, I can't fault this wonderful piece of cinema! A future classic and rightly so.

Pixar once again manages to exceed all expectations with their story of the last robot on earth and his crush on a visiting drone robot. The animation is setting new standards, like each of their releases has so far. Wall-E manages to win the hearts of the audience within minutes...( read more) into the movie without speaking any words and the story that is evolving rather surprisingly once he is leaving earth with Eve's ship, although the deeper meaning's surely over little kids' heads once the exciting action parts are added. The humor is adorable and funny, the look, design and ideas for the multiple robots fantastic and the romance sweeter than in most human love stories of recent years. Pixar creates magic movie moments by the dozen when Wall-E shows Eve his loot collection or they are dancing through space. This is not only a great animation film, it is a great film, full stop. Heart-warming, funny, lovable.

was a cute movie. As they said during most of the first half, there?s mostly beeps & noises for the 2 robots Wall*E & Eva (ava?) The gods help us if that ever happens although I will so take up property for the pool!! Those floating lounge chairs are cool. The drama starts onc...( read more)e Eva?s ship comes to retrieve her. One part is a bit sad so if you are easy to cry grab a Kleenex. Worth a watch but not really worth a purchase. C

Adorable! My son watched it for days, then walked around saying eva.

Beautiful is the first word that springs to mind here. The work on show here is truely stunning. Every single effect is perfect down to the last nut, the last bolt and the last glowing led. Everything looks fantastic, there is nothing thats looks bad, NOTHING. All he robot charac...( read more)ters are excellent and well designed, Wall E is of course the best design. He's almost like a Rubik's cube cross Transformer the way he folds and packs himself away to sleep or when he's scared. The actual mechanics and precision tech design used is amazing, every inch fits perfectly into place.
The imagination and concepts on show are brilliant, all the robots are designed for their own purpose BUT they actually look like they could be made for real life purposes haha Pixar could really create these little guys for reality, or so it looks. The humans are well done, being fat and almost boneless due to being born and raised in space, the way they are looked after and helpless is a nice touch which is probably what would happen haha. The sound effects are really nice too, not far of what you would expect but good none the less.
A simple love story with a massive heart that just nips at the toes of 'ET' and 'Short Circuit' but we all knew that would be the case with this. Very sweet, adorable and emotional in places, Wall E is the best film I have seen since Rambo.
Pixar win again, the film its lovely but its the visuals that really stick, as usual.
    warning, tissues needed :)

When a new strange looking robot comes to Eath in such of a secreat objective wall-e wants to find out all about this new Robot.

A great movie not just for kids but for all the family. A must see movie for a rainy night in

Come puo' un robottino che sa dire solo 2 parole entrare così tanto nell'immaginario comune e nel cuore dello spettatore? Pura magia...grazie Pixar

No movie can be a downer that fills you with pure exhilaration. You leave WALL-E with a feeling of the rarest kind: that you've just enjoyed a close encounter with an enduring classic. full review

The picture feels weirdly, and disappointingly, disjointed, something that starts out as poetry and ends as product. full review

It is, undoubtedly, an earnest (though far from simplistic) ecological parable, but it is also a disarmingly sweet and simple love story, Chaplinesque in its emotional purity.

Colin Covert, The Minneapolis Star Tribune

Continuing a string of successes that pit Pixar films against only other Pixar films in terms of quality animation, WALL*E makes the count nine masterpieces in a row. full review

Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

Pixar's WALL*E succeeds at being three things at once: an enthralling animated film, a visual wonderment and a decent science-fiction story. full review

Much Congrates to WALL-E and Pixar for the 2009 Oscar of an animated feature! There was no doubt they were gonna win. This movie from Pixar beats the rest, there is nothing else that can compare to how great this movie was. Just like Finding Nemo, WALL-E leaves you wondering..........what more does Pixar have in stored for us?

    ATTENTION "SIMILAR MOVIES" SPAMMERS

Recommending another movie because one scene of it reminds you of another movie isn't how it's meant to be used. If one movie in whole reminds you of another movie - THEN it's helpful.

Stop spamming and help contribute instead.

I have seen a bunch of films and I think this is one of the best movies ever made. I am so in love with WALL-E. The first 30 minutes are some of the best ever put on screen. The animation is beautiful, but the love story is truly timeless.

Brilliant plot a cautionary tale about the ultimate effect of unbridled comsumerism. Addresses the complex issues of conservation and the ecology with out becoming preachy(M Night Shahmaylan take note) sorry for the spolier but in the end our hero does get the girl!!!! Great movie.

This movie is O.K.. There is nothing special about it and is very targeted at 5 and 6 year old. The love story is a bit cliche. Overall a decent movie. Nothing special here.
