The Stepfather is a pretty lame movie. I don't know if anyone put everything they had into making a quality movie here, but if that person did, the end result is pretty sad. It's a standard, nothing special, nothing unique, nothing suspenseful, nothing scary movie. Nothing.

All in all it was pretty good but I just loved the original from 1987? so much that it was hard for me to 100% love it. However the main guy, where has Hollywood been hiding him? He's gorgeous.

This was an okay movie. My sister, her friend and me were laughing through this whole movie about how cheesy it was. Like when Dylan Walsh aka The Stepfather was supposed to look menacingly instead of being scared we were laughing. So if anything, if you want a good laugh go see ...( read more)
