Well...it's more Resident Evil. If you liked the others, then you'll like this one too. Milla Jovovich is still the best thing about the series, she's sexy and show a natural affinity for doing action scenes.
The story is still an afterthought, of course, but that's to be expec...( read more) -

This film isn't too bad, albeit a guilty pleasure. It didn't join up with the second film very well though. Still, daft Zombie fun is always good!

Installment three of Resident Evil doesn't fail to deliver the action and pure entertainment of the first two. The film had me right where installment two carried me (hooked) until about two-thirds through. Without giving details, let's just say, this sci-fi took an evil turn t...( read more)

This is a much more adult and gorey affair which makes it a whole lot better. The action is fast and violent with plenty of head shots and it looks quite good too. The first was ok, the second was a poor computer game hash and now this has brought the series back on form. Its not...( read more)

Finally a version that stays true to the game. A pulse-pounding and exhilerating film thats both compelling and contagious. It's ultra thrilling and action-packed thrill-ride. A brilliant mixture of science fiction and chilling horror. The Road Warrior meets Land of the dead. Bur...( read more)

I have a friend that insisted it was the best in the series because it focused on character and story over the action. Seriously, all I remembered was the terrible crow/ force power/ nuclear blast scene. Well, it does focus on characteraziations more so then either entry beforeha...( read more)

January 3, 2008Am I the only one out there that thought this movie in the series of "Resident Evil" itself should have been EXTINCT!!! "Beware the flesh colored look alike zombies that remind me of "Blue Man Group" in Las Vegas." All of the zombies in this film were unimaginary and were not thrilling or scary at all. As for Milla Jovovich as an actress she is great..and you know she did this film for the money. Ali Larter who is from "House On Haunted Hill" and "Final Destination" was also good in this film. Now Ashanti was the worst of them all. Kind of Like Paris Hilton in "House Of Wax" LOL!!. They also had previous characters from the other Resident Evil movies which I thought were already dead or should have been. I thought when you had the T-virus in you that it would start transformation within seconds?? Hmm.. Guess not in this film. The best parts in the film were of course the bird scene that was ripped off of a Hitchcock film and how they cloned her and made the exact replica of where it all started in the house from the 1st film. I know rumors are floating around for a 4th installment and as I love one and two maybe four will be better..but I will watch it with Netflix.
