This movie surely exceeded my expectations. Although being immune to horror movies this one scared the hell outta me! At some points it was over-the-top, excessively gruesome, violent and rather disturbing, but those drawbacks certainly don't bring the movie down.

High-caliber ...( read more)performances by the entire cast, brilliant direction, a soundtrack fitting the psychologically heavy and dark atmosphere. The theme is original and superbly delivered, the scene where all the mirrors break is truly stunning and breath-taking and the end couldn't be better. Great thriller that will keep you at the edge of your seat.

Mirrors- a film for Kiefer Sutherland fans. Otherwise, ti's a bad film which should have stayed locked inside the writer's mind. The plot has potential, very much potential. Aside from Sutherland, the acting in the film is bad, really bad. The director did not capitalize on s...( read more)uspense building which would have increased the ratings meter. Mirrors drags. The dragging is so bad that by the time the film ends, you could care less about how brilliant this film might have been with a properly written script, flawless direction and higher quality acting talent.

I thought this was a pretty decent horror film overall. Starts well it has a few gory scenes and the old shopping mall has a spooky feel to and a different ending from the usual stuff we get. Tries to be a bit too much like the Ring in the second half but still a enjoyable film a...( read more)ll the same.

The biggest surprise of this film is that they managed to adapt a remake into this sequel to 24. Jack Bauer is now living a normal life as a mall security guard. He's changed his names, but not his tactics. He runs around SHOUTING when he should be talking and whispering when he ...( read more)should be SHOUTING. The paranormal aspects are a brave, but also ridiculous departure from the TV series. The mirrors don't quite measure up to the best villains of the series and the film fails to establish or stick to any rules. A useless remake, cash-in, spin off. Whatever you want to call it.

Interesting concept enough... but Kiefer seriously has to drop the "Jack Bauer" persona, it reeked of it. And of course, Bauer gets owned by the mirrors. XD

Jokes aside, an original idea for horror, but nothing new in the end. Freakish though, but predicatable.... though gruesom...( read more)e. Loved the part where the jaw gets ripped off....

Anyways, it was convulted at times and the ending was weird - supernatural possession is a psychotic thing as you'll see, but it could have been better in so many ways... the final twist though was okay, but kinda funny, I laughed.

    *shrugs.

    Forgettable.

This is the first horror movie I have seen in a long time that kept me super interested, and got me to jump a couple times. There was one scene that just made me cringe,.. super!
