completely average. although its not a bad flick, i still see this as a down point for disney because they are so consistently above average. i laughed a few times and my kids love it, but the story was much weaker than disney usually puts out.

A bit different than most other kids movies; a bit brighter, quirkier, faster paced and creative. Very cute.

A great slant on the tale we all knew as kids. Chicken Little himself is quite adorable, and he has some great quirky sidekicks.
There were a couple of bits that were a little too ?War of the Worlds? to me, (a film I?m not very fond of), but this was a very enjoyable family ...( read more) -

One day, Chicken Little (voice of Zach Braff) was conked in the head by a piece of the sky, causing him to declare, naturally, that the sky was falling. The ensuing panic turned to anger when Chicken Little couldn't find the piece of sky that had fallen on him, and everyone concl...( read more)

Critic Reviews
The movie (directed by Mark Dindal, The Emperor's New Groove) swings from sugar buzz to glucose crash a bit too quickly. full review
Chicken Little settles for what's expedient and safe and, over all, lives down to its title. full review
Chicken Little is shiny and peppy, with some solid laughs and dandy vocal performances, but even a small child may sense how forced this movie is. full review
Compared to the CG gems from Pixar, Chicken Little is stylistically inconsistent, narratively messy, and, well, just not much fun. full review
The first computer-animated film from Disney also has the distinction of being a terrible movie a hectic, uninspired pastiche of catch phrases and cliches.
The movie did make me smile. It didn't make me laugh, and it didn't involve my emotions, or the higher regions of my intellect, for that matter. full review

July 3, 2006I dont really like all the animated movies, Shrek and The Incredibles aside, theyr all the same stuff over and over, animals in unfamiliar territory. It had a few laughs, but anyone over 10 years old will find themselves bored by the end.
