Kristen Bell mini-bio: Kristen Anne Bell is an American television and film actress, and also a former stage actress. She was born July 18, 1980 in Huntington Woods, a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. Her fatheris a news director at a local tv station, and her mother is a nurse. Her parents divorced when she was 2 and has a close relationship with her two half sisters, Sara and Jody.
She studied at New York University's Tisch School of Arts, but dropped out a few credits short of graduating to make her debut on Broadway. After working on the stage for several years, she found work in television, including several guest shots and landed the lead in two TV movies. She then got the role that would thrust her into the spotlight: "Veronica Mars". Since then she's starred in two high profile television shows, "Gossip Girl" and "Heroes", and also starred in the movies "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Fanboys".
